Personality:

⬥ What does your character consider to be their top 3 strengths?
What HE considers his strengths and what OTHERS consider his strengths is probably pretty different. He does consider his stoicism a strength, as it lets him cope with tough situations. He also thinks of himself as a pretty helpful person, and a good listener.

⬥ What do others consider to be your character's worst weakness?
His stoicism... it's definitely a double-edged sword, as while he thinks it helps him be strong, all it really does is distance him from people who want to get close to him. He tends to keep people at arm's length and doesn't like to let anyone get close to him, which is something people notice. Also, his sense of humor... sometimes he upsets people, though he doesn't intend to.

⬥ How does your character interact with others?
.... awkwardly .... Yu doesn't really know how to comport himself around people. He'll be kind and helpful, intelligent, sometimes even funny or warm, but those last two are more of he's caught off his guard, or somehow put at ease, which doesn't happen to him often. Yu wants to be closer with people and will often try to interact with others towards that end, but doesn't really believe in himself enough to think he'll succeed, so yeah, it makes some of his interactions awkward or strange. Truly, though, he's trying his best, and at times can accidentally be very charming, though it's never intentional. (Catch him being charming or suave and he'll immediately turn embarrassed and quiet.)

⬥ What motivates or drives your character?
His brother, more than anything. Yu wants to be like Souji, wants to be warm and friendly and popular and work well with others. Plus he just desperately wants to be with Souji, so he'll be very happy to have the chance in Pokemon world. He also has a sincere drive to connect with others... he really wants friends and wants to form bonds with people, he's just not very good at it. Figuring That All Out is probably his second major driving force.

⬥ How does your character spend their free time?
Cooking, gardening, reading, building models, petting cats... he tends to keep to himself a lot. He'll spend a lot of time with his pokemon figuring out how to make them happiest.

⬥ What is your character's greatest wish?
To be like Souji, and to spend the present/future with him.
CRAU: N/A. Yu and Souji are both coming from the very start of their CRAU game and as such won't have any developments from it yet.

Powers:


Physical/Fighting skills: In the game, Yu wields swords and really anything stick-like, up to and including a golf club. He's described as "the best" in combat by his friends Yosuke and Chie, and does seem to have a natural aptitude for fighting, both in actual physical combat and in tactical decision making. He's physically fit for his age, perhaps moreso due to all that life saving he gets up to, so he's fairly strong. (Though no moreso than a fit 17 year old boy could be.) He knows some swordplay, having honed his abilities over roughly a year spent exploring Midnight Channel dungeons, though having never been formally trained, it's all self-taught and a bit on the brutish, straightforward side. He hits things like he's whacking at them with a bat, not like he's actually using a sword as a sword. Still, he's not a total novice. He's just got a ... unique style.




The Wild Card/Personas: This is where Yu's true strengths lie. Yu is the Wild Card, the rare Persona user that is able to use multiple Personas. He can carry up to 12 into battle with him at any one time, and can swap them out freely and instantly in order to quickly change tactics. These are the Personas he would have had on him at the time of his canon point:

Izanagi-no-Okami (World, lv. 95): Yu's Persona, of the World arcana, in its ultimate form. Strong in all elements, weak to none.
Sraosha (Justice, lv. 85): The ultimate Persona of the Justice arcana. Strong in light attacks and weak to dark.
Kohryu (Hierophant, lv. 85): The ultimate Persona of the Hierophant arcana. Strong in electricity, weak to none.
Magatsu-Izanagi (Hunger, lv. 86): The ultimate Persona of the Jester/Hunger arcana. Strong in dark and weak to none.
Mada (Magician, lv. 85): The ultimate Persona of the Magician arcana. Strong in fire, weak to ice.
Futsunushi (Chariot, lv. 87): The ultimate persona of the Chariot arcana. Strong in physical, but weak to dark.
Isis (Empress, lv. 87): The ultimate persona of the Empress arcana. Strong in recovery and ice, weak to electricity.

Social Links: Social links are a fully realized, in-universe power and not just a game mechanic. They allow Yu to form bonds with others that, while he is under contract with The Velvet Room, allow him to gain power. His party member social links gain power from the bond as well. In a game, this party member-specific power-sharing will not occur, but the ability to social link will otherwise remain the same.
